I had to drive to Raleigh for another conference and so I made a quick visit on the way to Alyssa's school to have a surprise lunch with her. I waited in the hallway and at first she didn't even see me standing there. She was so surprised! I had a great time eating lunch with her. I asked Alyssa what she liked best about school and she said, "Friends!" She told me all about her kindergarten friends. (Now I just have to figure out a way to make it up to Hunter...)
