Camping in Columbia, SC

Gary and I spent 3 nights RV camping in Columbia, South Carolina last weekend. We did several sealing sessions at the Temple for family names on my side . It was really great. We also did a lot of biking. We rode about 2 1/2 miles one day and then about 7 miles the next day. We can really feel it today! It was very hot in Columbia but we enjoyed the cool in our camper. We attended church Sunday morning at Will and Emily's former ward. It was a nice little weekend get-away!
Gary and I rode across the Lake Murray Dam and back across. It was scary riding beside all the traffic.

We rode along the Riverfront Park and Columbia Canal.

We had to watch out for alligators along the trail!

I posed beside an original Little Red School House.

The river path was quite nice (especially with such fun company!)

We also biked at Granby Park!

Gary and I enjoyed the exercise and the scenery.

Talking to Will and Emily about us spending time in their "old neighborhood"

My handsome traveling companion.

What a great trip. Isn't that some beautiful scenery to be enjoying. We really enjoyed the river walk when we lived there. So funny but I forgot all about it until you said that you were there. Columbia is such a great small city. We will always love it there.
