Richmond, Virginia

Last week, I drove 6 hours to Richmond, Virginia to a literacy institute. It was a really long drive for me alone, but it was a beautiful drive through Virginia. I had forgotten how beautiful that state is until I started driving through the thickly forested roadways. I also had forgotten how many toll roads there were! I never had change with me! The institute was good, but I was kind of lonely both evenings. Gary had originally planned to go with me, but after missing so much work when he went to Louisanna, he just couldn't take off again.

I stayed at a 5 star hotel called the Jefferson that was just lovely.
