Las Vegas July 2008 Trip

We had a wonderful time in Las Vegas with Will and Emily and the boys. They kept us entertained each day! We went to Mt. Charleston for a picnic in the woods and took a guided horse carriage ride. We walked the strip in Las Vegas and saw all the sights. We rode the gondola on the canals of Venice in the Venetian Hotel while listening to our oarsman (the gondolianer) serenade us with Italian lovesongs. We celebrated James's 1st birthday party and laughed at his enthusiasm for his birthday cake. We hiked around the Valley of Fire to Mouse's Tank and saw ancient petroglyphs on the red rock mountains. We went to Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden in the Mirage Hotel and watched the 11-week old tiger cubs wrestle and play. We were amazed at the white tigers and lions. We watched a mother dolphin and her baby swim and play. Most of all we enjoyed time together with this beautiful family: laughing and playing... and crying when it was time to leave.We look forward to our next time together to continue where we left off!
